Renowned for transforming historic buildings into cultural hubs, real estate development, brand and design powerhouse, LEFT LANE, is bringing the Bardo brand to Pittsburgh. Specialising in boutique hospitality, the firm will convert the existing 40-story Gulf Tower – an Art Deco architectural icon in the heart of downtown, into a mixed-use urban development. Hotel Bardo Pittsburgh is scheduled to open in the summer of 2026, offering 130 guestrooms and suites, 220 residences, three restaurant and bar concepts and 10,000 sq ft of leisure spaces, including a kids club and golf simulator. With thoughtful “modest deco” interiors throughout, the hotel will be designed to celebrate the building’s original architectural details.
